KSI Attorneys-at-law LLC
The firm
Complex international situations deserve senior-level attention, not commoditised advice.

KSI Attorneys-at-law LLC is a boutique tax firm founded by Kevin Sirman, a Franco-Swiss attorney-at-law with ten years of experience in international tax law, registered at the Geneva and Paris Bar Associations.
Before founding the firm, he practiced at a leading French energy group, two of the world's foremost tax advisory firms, and a Geneva-based law firm serving international private clients.
Our practice is built around a simple conviction: complex international situations deserve senior-level attention, not commoditised advice. Every client works directly with experienced counsel.
We operate from Geneva, Paris and São Paulo, advising clients across Europe, the Americas and beyond, in English, French, Portuguese and conversational Russian.
Questions we are often asked
I have assets in Switzerland and abroad. How will my estate be taxed?
Cross-border succession raises complex questions around applicable law, treaty entitlements and local inheritance rules. With some countries, such as the United States, a tax treaty may limit certain exposures, but its interaction with domestic rules requires careful analysis. We advise families with ties to several jurisdictions on structuring their estate in a legally sound and tax-efficient manner.
I have received a tax reassessment from Swiss authorities. What are my options?
A tax reassessment is not final. You have the right to challenge it through an administrative appeal and, if necessary, before the competent tax courts. The key is acting quickly — deadlines are strict — and building a well-documented response from the outset. We assess your position, advise on the merits of a challenge, and represent you throughout the process.
Why engage a tax attorney rather than a tax advisor or accountant?
A licensed attorney is bound by strict professional secrecy, which means our communications are legally privileged — a protection that does not extend to most advisors or accountants. In complex or sensitive situations, especially those involving litigation or regularization, this distinction matters. We also bring litigation capability that most tax advisors cannot offer.
How do you charge for your services?
Our fees reflect the complexity of your situation. We offer transparent hourly rates for advisory work, and fixed-fee arrangements for defined engagements such as company formation or lump-sum taxation negotiations. We provide a non-binding fee estimate following an initial consultation.
